Tara L. Cook, MA ESE, BCBA, LBA, IBA
Tara L. Cook is a licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), clinical Vice_President and consultant to schools across the tri-state area. Tara has been working with children, adolescents and teens diagnosed with various disabilities, since 2017 in the home, school, clinical and community settings. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Troy University, a Master of Arts in Exceptional Student Education with a cohort in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of West Florida as well an Associate of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University. Additionally, Tara has previously served as a Registered Behavior Technician and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
Prior to entering the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2017, Tara served as a Public Affairs Noncommissioned Officer in the U.S. Army for nearly seven years before being medically retired due to injuries. Just prior to her retirement from the Army, Tara’s son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Delay and Sensory Processing Disorder. They were directed to ABA services where her son started to progress with more communication skills, and this is when Tara knew she had to bring the science home and started her journey in the field.
